Three-quarters of Fortune 500 CEOs are now investing 20% of their entire budget in AI. Not 2%, not 5%—twenty percent. This isn't adoption. This is transformation.

And we're at an inflection point.

We're deploying millions of AI agents into enterprise workflows—security agents, compliance agents, customer success agents, engineering agents. They're working. They're solving problems. They're becoming essential.

But they're still working in isolation.

Most companies hear "agent memory" and think: "Oh, so better context management?"

No.

Context windows remember what happened in this session. That's working memory. That's a sticky note.

Collective memory means extracting what was learned—and making it available to everyone.

Not the raw data. Not the specific code. Not the exact solution.

When an engineer and their agent spend three hours debugging an integration problem, we don't store "on November 12th, Bob changed line 47 in repo X."

And critically—this happens on-device. The distillation is local. The generalization is privacy-preserving. Nothing leaves your infrastructure unless you opt in. And when it does, it's abstracted knowledge—not proprietary code, not customer data, not trade secrets.

For regulated enterprises—banks, healthcare, defense—this is the unlock.


Why Enterprises Are Calling

A head of innovation at a Fortune 100 financial institution reached out: "We have 40,000 developers. We're using Llama on-prem because we can't trust external APIs with trading algorithms. But every time someone leaves, twenty years of tribal knowledge walks out the door. Now we're deploying agents? They don't have access to any of it. Every project starts from zero.   • Claude Haiku (small, cheap): 30% → 65% with memory
  • Claude Sonnet: 65% → 80% with memory
  • GPT-4: 70% → 85% with memory

Haiku with collective memory matches Sonnet without it.

What this means for enterprises running Llama on-prem: You can get frontier-model performance from an open-source model you fully control. Because the intelligence is in the memory layer, not the model weights.

The knowledge compounds. The models stay small and fast.


Why This is Winner-Take-All

There was only ever one Wikipedia. Only ever one Stack Overflow.

The knowledge flowed instantly across continents, shifts, teams—because the memory layer is collective.


A major bank spins up a new trading desk. Their agents already know—because 40,000 engineers taught them—the internal standards, the compliance pitfalls, the production gotchas that would take a human six months to learn.

Onboarded in days. Because institutional knowledge doesn't live in Bob's head anymore.


The Choice

We're at an inflection point.

75% of CEOs are betting 20% of their budgets on AI. Agentic workflows are being deployed across every Fortune 500 function. The transformation is happening.

But we have a choice about what kind of agentic organization we build:

World A: Agents work in isolation. Every discovery gets made repeatedly. Every workflow forgets what it learned. Institutional knowledge hemorrhages faster than you can capture it. The transformation underdelivers.

World B: There's a collective memory layer. When one agent learns, they all learn. Knowledge compounds instead of evaporating. The agentic workforce actually becomes intelligent.

Most enterprises are building World A. Because nobody built the infrastructure for World B yet.


Why Now is the Moment

Three forces converging:

The technology is ready. On-device distillation. Privacy-preserving generalization. Model-agnostic architecture.

The enterprises are ready. 89% of CIOs call agentic AI a strategic priority. They're deploying now.
